10bet Acquires Naming Rights for Ellis Park Stadium for Five Years

Online betting operator 10bet has entered into a five-year commercial agreement to acquire the naming rights for the historic Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg. The venue will officially transition to the designation of 10bet Ellis Park.

The deal strengthens 10bet's presence in the South African sports market, complementing its existing partnership with the national football team, Bafana Bafana. The agreement also includes initiatives for the development of the urban area surrounding the stadium.

This new arrangement provides 10bet with visibility at an iconic sports facility, historically linked to rugby and football. Stadium management has indicated that the collaboration aims to enhance brand value, increase fan engagement, and fund long-term community projects.

Michele Colborne, Marketing VP for 10bet Africa, stated that the agreement is more than just a naming rights deal and represents a new chapter for the stadium, which has played a significant role in South African sports history. Pieter Burger, Managing Director of Ellis Park Stadium, highlighted that the partnership initiates a new phase for the stadium's operations.
