119 Rental Apartments to be Completed in Former Office Building in Helsinki

Real estate company Lumo Kodit Oyj is transforming a former Postipankki office building in Northern Haaga, Helsinki, into a property featuring 119 rental apartments. The building, previously known as Lassilanlinna and designed by Bruno Erat in 1992, will be ready for new residents in early 2026 following a comprehensive renovation.

Toni Kankare, Kojamo's Director of Construction, described the conversion process as demanding. The building's interior was stripped down to its concrete structure before new building services and interior finishes were installed for residential use. The company highlighted the project's adherence to sustainable building principles.

The renovated property at Sentnerikuja 2 comprises six floors and 119 apartments, ranging from studios to three-room units. Most apartments include a balcony, and all feature a light, Scandinavian design. Communal facilities include a party or club room and sauna sections with rooftop terraces.

Sentnerikuja 2 is located near amenities and public transportation, including the Kaari shopping center and the Northern Haaga train station. Apartments are available for rent via the Lumo online store, with move-ins expected between February and March 2026.
