16 Security Solutions for Windows 11 Business Clients Tested

IT security research institute AV-TEST has released its latest evaluation of 16 Endpoint security solutions for Windows 11, specifically targeting business clients. The comprehensive test examined the software's ability to defend against a wide range of cyber threats, including malware and ransomware attacks.

The study involved assessing nearly 25,000 diverse malware samples, focusing on the products' capabilities in real-time detection and mitigation. Alongside protection effectiveness, the tests also measured the system performance impact and the rate of false positives generated by the security software.

Results indicated strong performance across the board, with nine solutions achieving top scores in protection. Specifically, seven products successfully detected and blocked all tested malware without any errors. The tested products came from manufacturers such as Acronis, Avast, Kaspersky, Microsoft, Norton, Qualys, Sophos, Symantec, and WithSecure.

System performance impact was also a key consideration. The majority of the tested solutions demonstrated minimal resource usage, with 14 products showing little impact on system performance. This is crucial for business environments where efficiency is paramount.

AV-TEST awards participating products the "Approved Corporate Endpoint Protection" certificate. Products achieving 17.5 points or higher receive an additional TOP PRODUCT designation, highlighting their superior performance.
