Technology firm 17Tech has initiated the application process for the second cohort of its accelerator program targeted at the defence sector.
The cohort, designated 2/26, will concentrate on technologies related to electronic warfare (EW), communications, unmanned systems, strike capabilities, air defence, integration, and vision. The initiative aims to support promising startups within the defence industry.
Companies selected for the program will receive funding ranging from €20,000 to €60,000. 17Tech also operates an R&D center in Ukraine, suggesting potential connections to defence industry needs in the region.
Participating startups will have the opportunity to showcase their technologies at an open demo day scheduled for November 16 in Finland. This event is designed to foster networking and potential collaborations among industry stakeholders.
