1STPLAYER NEO108 V2 Keyboard Upgrades Polling Rate to 8kHz
1STPLAYER has released the NEO108 V2 mechanical keyboard, featuring an upgraded 8kHz polling rate and new Yunxi switches. The update aims to improve gaming responsiveness.
Chinese tech company 1STPLAYER has launched a revised version of its NEO108 series wireless mechanical keyboard, designated the V2 model. This updated keyboard significantly enhances performance by supporting an 8kHz polling rate in both USB-C and 2.4GHz modes. This allows for faster data transmission between the keyboard and the computer, a critical factor for competitive gaming.
The NEO108 V2 retains the overall design of its predecessor, including a horizontal volume roller and accent lighting strips. Internally, it features a five-layer Gasket mount structure for improved typing feel and acoustics. The input latency is reported to be as low as 0.125ms, and the keyboard includes advanced input functions such as MT, TGL, and CB, in addition to its standard SOCD capabilities.
This version incorporates the new Yunxi switches. These switches are constructed with a POM stem, a PC top housing, and a nylon bottom housing, paired with a 20mm spring. They include a light guide for enhanced RGB illumination and are designed for a tactile feel with a distinct sound profile. The actuation force is 40±5gf, with an actuation point of 2.0±0.5mm and a total travel of 3.5±0.3mm. The switches are rated for a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes.
Pricing for the NEO108 V2 starts at 329 yuan for the "Polar Blue" variant, which comes with double-shot PBT keycaps. The "Land of Oz" edition, featuring five-sided dye-sublimated PBT keycaps, is priced at 369 yuan. Both models are currently available in the Chinese market.
