2027 Hyundai Tucson XRT Debuts with Rugged Exterior Enhancements
Hyundai has unveiled the 2027 Tucson XRT, featuring a refreshed design with more aggressive exterior elements. The XRT variant emphasizes outdoor and adventure styling.
Hyundai officially revealed the 2027 Hyundai Tucson XRT on September 21. The new model builds upon the redesigned standard Tucson, incorporating a series of rugged elements to enhance its outdoor orientation.
The most noticeable changes on the XRT are at the front. A rectangular, split grille offers a more imposing presence than the standard Tucson, complemented by a substantial skid plate and black wheel arch cladding for a robust appearance.
Body cladding receives a textured finish inspired by forged carbon fiber. The rear features an XRT-exclusive bumper and skid plate, with the tailgate now displaying XRT badging and the HTRAC all-wheel-drive system logo.
Inside, the XRT is equipped with protective floor mats for both rows of seating and features XRT-specific textured seats and dark metallic trim. It's important to note that the XRT is styled for a rugged aesthetic rather than extreme off-roading capabilities, appealing to consumers who favor an adventurous look.
The fifth-generation Tucson is set to launch in South Korea next month, with pricing to be announced in October. Powertrain details for the gasoline and hybrid versions have already been released. The redesigned fifth-generation Tucson, initially unveiled in August, features straighter lines and sharper edges, giving it a significantly more rugged visual stance.
