2027 Peugeot 208 Electric Vehicle Spied During Testing
Spy shots have revealed the upcoming 2027 Peugeot 208 electric vehicle undergoing road tests in Spain. Built on the new Stellantis STLA One platform, the model will initially be offered exclusively as an all-electric vehicle.

The upcoming 2027 Peugeot 208 electric vehicle has been spotted for the first time during road tests in Spain, according to reports from automotive media. Upon its release, the vehicle is expected to compete with models such as the Renault 5 E-Tech and the Volkswagen ID.Polo.
The new model will be built on Stellantis's all-new STLA One platform, making it one of the first production vehicles to utilize this architecture. Peugeot has confirmed that the vehicle will initially be available with only an all-electric powertrain option. The company aims for improved range and charging speeds compared to the current E-208.
Externally, the production car adopts a traditional five-door hatchback body style, drawing inspiration from the 2025 Polygon concept car but presenting a more restrained design. It features split headlights, a closed grille, and what appear to be three horizontal LED light strips. The side profile suggests a somewhat boxy cabin silhouette with a more upright rear and a short rear overhang.
Interior glimpses show a large digital instrument cluster, a new infotainment screen, and a distinctive rectangular steering wheel dubbed "Hypersquare." This steering wheel concept was previously seen on a Peugeot concept car and features four circular cutouts with integrated controls.
