26th CIFIT Promotes September Fair Through Hong Kong and Macao Roadshows
The 26th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) held promotional roadshows in Hong Kong and Macao earlier in July. These events aimed to showcase the upcoming Xiamen fair and its growing international participation.
The 26th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) conducted promotional roadshows in Hong Kong and Macao on July 8–9. These events served to highlight the upcoming investment fair in Xiamen this September and to encourage international participation.
The two-day roadshows convened senior government officials, business leaders, and financial institutions. The objective was to invite the business communities of Hong Kong and Macao to attend the Xiamen fair, while emphasizing China's commitment to high-level opening-up and facilitating two-way investment.
Scheduled for September 8–11 in Xiamen, the 26th CIFIT will feature a record exhibition area of 200,000 square meters. Positioned as a key platform under the "Invest in China" initiative, the fair has attracted participation from nearly 50 countries and regions, including Germany, Italy, Brazil, Portugal, the UAE, and South Korea.
The event's agenda includes forums hosted by international organizations such as UNCTAD and UNIDO. Additionally, there will be a dedicated session for Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao participants, showcasing investment opportunities and the cities' roles as investment hubs.
