The Ministry of Transport and Communications has forecast that 30 charging points at national highway service areas will be particularly busy on October 5. The majority of these congested locations are concentrated in the provinces of Hebei, Hunan, and Shanxi.

During the national holiday period, the demand for electric vehicle charging is expected to be 1.8 times higher than on a typical day. The ministry has identified specific service areas across various provinces, including Tanghai, Tangshan, and Leting in Hebei; Hengshi and Guidong in Hunan; and Gaoping in Shanxi, as likely hotspots for charging demand.

The peak period for returning journeys is anticipated on October 5 and 6. Specifically, charging demand is expected to be highest between 11:00 and 21:00 on October 5, and between 10:00 and 22:00 on October 6. Generally, service area charging stations begin to see significant increases in vehicle numbers from 10:00 daily, with demand subsiding after 21:00.

Travelers are advised to use the "e ่ทฏ็•…้€š" WeChat mini-program to check the real-time operational status of charging points and plan their routes accordingly to avoid potential delays.
