34 Children Located in Long Island Rescue Operation

Clearview AI, in partnership with the National Child Protection Task Force (NCPTF), announced the successful location of 34 children and teens reported missing in the Long Island area. The operation, coordinated by NCPTF with state agencies, leveraged resources from local, state, and federal law enforcement, along with non-profit and private partners.

The multi-day operation focused on exploring new leads and employing technology to find children at risk of endangerment and exploitation. The located individuals ranged in age from 7 to 18 years old when they were reported missing. Support services were provided to the recovered children and their families.

During the operation, a youth missing for two years was also located and connected with support professionals. Clearview AI provided investigative technology support, helping to generate leads that were then verified by personnel. "Being part of this operation reflects the trust that law enforcement and child-protection agencies place in our technology," said Clearview AI CEO Amos Kyler.

NCPTF has now helped locate over 253 endangered missing children through similar operations. The task force aims to prevent vulnerable youth from becoming victims of trafficking and exploitation.
