360 Advanced completes assessment for first FedRAMP 20x Class C certification

Compliance firm 360 Advanced has announced its role as the independent assessor for the Perplexity Enterprise and API Platform, which received the first FedRAMP 20x Class C certification on October 28, 2026. This marks a milestone in the application of the new CR26 regulatory framework.

Under the CR26 requirements, independent assessors are tasked with performing a technical review of security measures. 360 Advanced evaluated Perplexity's security indicators, verified automated validation processes, and reviewed machine-readable evidence to ensure the platform met the federal government's specified security outcomes.

"CR26 asks assessors to evaluate security at a technical level and confirm it delivers real outcomes," said Dan Collins, CEO and founder of 360 Advanced. The firm will continue to conduct the mandatory annual assessments required to maintain the platform's certification status.

This certification does not have a fixed expiration date, contingent upon the service provider meeting ongoing requirements and submitting to annual external reviews.
