Insolvency Services Group, acting as assignee for the benefit of creditors of 3DEO Inc., has initiated a sale process for the company's intellectual property assets. The offering includes patents, trademarks, proprietary process knowledge, trade secrets, software, and material data related to its metal 3D printing technology. A stalking horse bid of $3,426,507 has been submitted, covering the IP portfolio and certain machinery.

Brian Testo Associates, LLC has been engaged to manage the marketing and sale of these assets. Qualified overbids are due by August 12, 2026. A live auction to determine the highest bidder is scheduled for August 14, 2026, if competing bids are received.

3DEO Inc. was recognized as a pioneer in mass-production metal 3D printing. The company developed the patented Intelligent Layering® process, which combines binder jetting with CNC milling to produce geometrically complex small metal parts with tight tolerances and fine surface finishes.

The intellectual property assets comprise a complete portfolio, including sintering profiles, shrinkage compensation models, and mechanical property data across four qualified alloys. Proprietary software for slicing and cutting paths is also included.

In a separate online auction on BidSpotter.com, 3DEO's remaining machinery and equipment will be sold. This auction closes on August 18, 2026. Interested parties must meet U.S. export control requirements and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
