Technology firms 4basebio of the United Kingdom and Genezen of the United States have entered into a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing the manufacturing of next-generation viral vectors using synthetic, cell-free DNA platforms.
The commercial collaboration merges 4basebio's advanced synthetic DNA technology with Genezen's expertise in viral vector development and manufacturing. The partnership is intended to support gene therapy programs across their entire lifecycle, from early-stage development through clinical and commercial production.
