6K Additive and ADDMAN Sign 30-Month Nickel Powder Supply Deal
6K Additive and ADDMAN have entered into a 30-month supply agreement for Nickel 718 powder, valued between US$8.1 million and US$10.8 million. The deal includes a structured revert buy-back program.

6K Additive, a producer of high-performance metal powders based in Pennsylvania, and ADDMAN, an additive manufacturing company headquartered in Florida, have finalized a 30-month supply agreement. The contract is valued at a minimum of US$8.1 million and a maximum of US$10.8 million.
The agreement will see 6K Additive supply Nickel 718 alloy powders to support ADDMAN's expanding production requirements for the aerospace, defense, and energy sectors. This partnership aims to bolster ADDMAN's access to domestically sourced powders and enhance supply chain resilience.
A key component of the deal is a structured revert buy-back program. Under this initiative, 6K Additive will purchase used powder (revert) from ADDMAN and reprocess it into new, high-purity powders using its proprietary UniMelt® microwave plasma system. This creates a circular supply chain and reduces reliance on foreign sources.
"Our relationship with 6K Additive strengthens our ability to deliver high-performance components for critical aerospace, defense, and energy applications while supporting a more efficient and sustainable approach to powder lifecycle management," said Joe Calmese, CEO of ADDMAN. 6K Additive highlighted that their technology allows for the conversion of used feedstock into premium powders, aligning with national priorities for domestic material security.
