7-Eleven Celebrates 60 Years of Slurpee With Free Drinks
7-Eleven is offering free small Slurpee drinks nationwide on July 11 to mark the iconic beverage's 60th anniversary. A new flavor and promotional events are also part of the celebration.

Convenience store giant 7-Eleven, Inc. is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its signature frozen beverage, the Slurpee, by offering customers a free small Slurpee drink at participating locations across the United States on July 11. The occasion also coincides with 7-Eleven's 99th birthday.
For the anniversary, 7-Eleven is introducing a new limited-time flavor: Mountain Dew Confetti Chill. This citrus-inspired flavor aims to evoke a birthday cake taste with notes of lemon cake and vanilla icing, and can be customized with colorful sugar crystals.
The company is promoting the event with a "Slurpee Date" campaign, encouraging consumers to use Slurpee Day as an opportunity for a casual outing. Select stores will feature photo opportunities and provide commemorative items, such as crystal-embellished straws.
In addition to the new flavor and promotional events, 7-Eleven has released a limited-edition collection of fine jewelry inspired by the Slurpee brand. Loyalty program members can also enter to win a "Slurpee Truck VIP Experience."
