AAC Technologies Expands into AI, Targets New Revenue Milestone in 2026
AAC Technologies reported strong 2025 results, announcing a strategic focus on AI growth sectors and expecting to achieve a new revenue milestone in 2026.
AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. revealed its strategic shift towards artificial intelligence sectors during its 2025 annual results conference in Singapore. The company announced a revenue of RMB 31.82 billion for the year, a 16.4% increase year-on-year, surpassing RMB 30 billion for the first time. Net profit rose by 39.8% to RMB 2.51 billion.
Chief Financial Officer Guo Dan highlighted that new business lines in optics and automotive solutions, coupled with expansion into AI-related fields such as heat dissipation, robotics, and XR, are now key growth drivers. These initiatives are expected to support sustainable development and unlock further growth potential in 2026.
The optics business, a core growth driver since 2019, generated RMB 5.73 billion in revenue in 2025, with a compound annual growth rate exceeding 32%. AAC projects the gross profit margin for plastic lenses to increase from 30% in 2025 to 35% in 2026. The company also announced a breakthrough in its proprietary Wafer-Level Glass (WLG) lens technology, potentially altering the market landscape.
Automotive solutions, identified as the company's second growth engine, recorded RMB 4.12 billion in revenue in 2025, an increase of 16.1%. AAC aims to solidify its position as a top-tier supplier of automotive audio systems. For 2026, this segment is projected to grow its revenue by 15-20%.
