AAX Biotech appoints Sarah Fredriksson as CEO

Sarah Fredriksson has taken the helm as CEO of AAX Biotech, bringing over two decades of experience in the life sciences industry. Her background includes serving as the founder and CEO of the publicly traded company Genovis and most recently leading the firm Aqilion.

This leadership change marks a strategic pivot for AAX Biotech as the company shifts its focus from initial technology validation toward the commercial development of its antibody therapeutic platforms. The transition aims to stabilize the firm's operational structure as it seeks to advance its proprietary technologies.

Co-founder Daniel X Johansson will remain with the company in the roles of Chief Scientific Officer and board member. The firm plans to concentrate its upcoming efforts on scaling its development processes and expanding its presence in the therapeutics market.
