AAX Biotech Presents Opti-mAb® at Antibody Engineering & Therapeutics Europe

AAX Biotech has confirmed its participation in the prestigious Antibody Engineering & Therapeutics Europe conference, scheduled to take place from May 27-29 at the Congress Center in Basel, Switzerland. This event is widely recognized as one of Europe's premier gatherings for the antibody engineering and therapeutics community.

Daniel X Johansson, CEO/CSO & Co-Founder of AAX Biotech, will present a poster detailing Opti-mAb®, the company's cutting-edge technology. Opti-mAb® is designed to address a critical challenge in next-generation antibody therapeutics by significantly improving the production yields and stability of scFv antibodies.

The technology’s primary goal is to mitigate the instability issues commonly associated with scFv antibodies, which typically inflate development costs and compromise the therapeutic performance of advanced modalities such as bispecifics and CAR-Ts. By enhancing scFv stability, Opti-mAb® aims to reduce these costs and boost the efficacy of such treatments.

In addition to Opti-mAb®, Johansson will also highlight Seqitope®, AAX Biotech's high-resolution and high-throughput epitope mapping technology. This tool accelerates antibody discovery and de-risks lead candidate selection, further solidifying the company's commitment to innovation in antibody development. Attendees are invited to find AAX Biotech at their poster, titled “Opti-mAb®: a novel scFv format for improved therapies,” to engage with Johansson and learn more about their advancements.
