AAX Biotech to Showcase Novel Antibody Technology at PEGS Boston
AAX Biotech's Head of R&D will present the company's Opti-mAb® technology at the PEGS Boston 2026 conference. The innovation aims to overcome the instability challenges of scFv antibodies.

AAX Biotech has announced its participation in the upcoming 22nd Annual PEGS Boston conference, scheduled for May 11-15, 2026. At the event, Dr. Ionut Gabriel Dumitru, the company's Head of R&D, will present its groundbreaking Opti-mAb® technology.
Opti-mAb® was developed to address the persistent challenge of scFv antibody instability. These antibodies are critical in rapidly expanding therapeutic areas, including CAR-T therapies and bispecific antibodies. However, their inherent instability has historically led to high development costs and limited their therapeutic performance.
According to AAX Biotech, Opti-mAb® significantly improves both the production yields and stability of scFv antibodies. Dr. Dumitru will detail these advancements in a poster titled “Opti-mAb®: a novel scFv format for improved therapies”.
Additionally, Dr. Dumitru will discuss Seqitope®, the company's high-resolution and high-throughput epitope mapping technology. This technology is designed to accelerate antibody discovery and de-risk lead candidate selection. AAX Biotech invites conference attendees to visit their poster at #209704 and engage in discussions about these innovative solutions.
