Abbott Launches Alinity Diagnostic Systems

Abbott Laboratories has launched the Alinity™ family of next-generation diagnostic systems, covering multiple testing areas including immunoassay, clinical chemistry, point of care, hematology, blood and plasma screening, and molecular diagnostics.

The new systems are designed to address the growing challenges faced by healthcare systems, such as increased testing volumes due to an aging population and a rise in chronic diseases. Abbott also aims to help laboratories and healthcare providers operate more efficiently with limited resources and space, while managing costs.

Diagnostic tests are a vital part of healthcare, influencing an estimated 60-70 percent of critical clinical decisions. The Alinity systems aim to improve the speed and accuracy of testing, allowing healthcare professionals to focus on providing the best possible patient care.
