Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec – Abcourt Mines announced on August 25, 2026, its operational results for July 2026 and the progress of its mine development plan. The company is transitioning towards optimized mining methods, aiming for higher-grade gold production and increased tonnage.

The July operational phase involved a significant technical transition. The increase in gold pours observed during the month primarily reflects the cleanup of inventory accumulated in the processing circuits. The focus on underground development temporarily impacted extracted grades, a situation expected to normalize as work advances into higher-grade production areas. In July, 4,736 tonnes of ore were milled with an average gold grade of 1.36 g/t, yielding 180 ounces of gold. Despite this, 715 ounces of gold were poured, attributed to inventory cleanup.

Abcourt's top priority is accessing the deposit's highest-grade areas, specifically those exceeding 5 g/t. The adoption of the long-hole (LH) mining method is yielding concrete results. The first stopes of this type began in July and are expected to be completed by mid-September. Preliminary August data confirms their efficiency, particularly with the blasting of 1,055 tonnes in the 295-DAC5 sector at an unreconciled grade of 6.45 g/t. This ore was processed in early August.

The company anticipates a significant increase in production starting from the end of the third quarter. The upcoming production from Zone 20 and Zone 3, along with the ongoing development of the 295-DAC5 sector, supports the company's growth objectives. Abcourt Mines holds gold properties in northwestern Quebec, Canada, including the Sleeping Giant mine and the Flordin property.
