Abcourt Mines Discovers New Gold Mineralized Zone in Quebec
Abcourt Mines Inc. has intersected a new gold mineralized zone grading 1.3 g/t gold over 28.5 metres on its Flordin Property in Lebel-sur-Quévillon, Quebec. The discovery is located 1.8 km west of previous January 2025 drilling results.
Abcourt Mines Inc. has announced the discovery of a new gold mineralized zone on its Flordin Property, located in the Lebel-sur-Quévillon area of Quebec. The finding, disclosed in a press release on Monday, was made during the company's ongoing drill program.
Drill hole FL-25-280 intersected the South Zone at a depth of 483 metres. Subsequently, at a depth of over 400 metres, the same hole encountered a previously undiscovered mineralized zone. This new zone returned an average grade of 1.3 grams of gold per tonne over a 28.5-metre interval, including a higher-grade section of 5.1 grams of gold per tonne over 3 metres.
Pascal Hamelin, President and CEO of Abcourt Mines, stated that the results confirm the continuity of high-grade gold mineralization traceable over more than 1.8 kilometres on the property. Previous drilling, such as hole FL-23-265, had reported grades of 14.7 grams of gold per tonne over 4 metres.
The newly identified zone remains open for further exploration, both laterally and at depth. The current 2025 drilling campaign is the deepest to date in this sector of the property, prompting continued investigation into the mineral potential of the Flordin Property.
