Abdu Mudesir to leave Deutsche Telekom
Deutsche Telekom's Board Member for Product and Technology, Abdu Mudesir, will leave the company effective March 31, 2026, to pursue a new professional role abroad.

Dr. Abdurazak (Abdu) Mudesir, who serves as Deutsche Telekom's Member of the Board of Management for Product and Technology, will depart the company at his own request on March 31, 2026. Mudesir is leaving to take on a new professional role internationally.
The company's Supervisory Board has approved the mutual termination of his contract. Deutsche Telekom expressed gratitude for Mudesir's eight years of commitment and wished him success in his future endeavors. Mudesir joined the company's management board in 2016.
Until a successor is appointed, Dr. Christian Illek, alongside his role as Chief Financial Officer, will temporarily assume Mudesir's responsibilities. This measure is intended to ensure continuity in a critical area for the group. Deutsche Telekom stated that its strategic direction and the implementation of product and technology priorities will proceed without interruption.
Christian Illek brings extensive experience from the telecommunications industry. Deutsche Telekom highlighted that the close link between technical and financial departments, particularly through procurement, means Illek is already significantly involved in technology matters.
