Abra Group Airlines Deliver Aid to Venezuela Post-Earthquake

Abra Group has mobilized its pan-Latin American airline network, comprising Avianca and Gol, to support humanitarian and emergency response efforts after a devastating earthquake struck Venezuela on June 24. The airlines have since delivered more than 125 tons of humanitarian aid, including food, medicines, water, and essential supplies, and transported rescue teams and medical personnel to affected areas.

Avianca alone transported nearly 120 tons of humanitarian aid, encompassing food, medicine, water, hygiene kits, tents, and clothing. The airline also facilitated travel for rescue teams, medical brigades, and specialized emergency personnel, coordinating with regional authorities and social organizations. Gol, in cooperation with the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, deployed a humanitarian flight carrying six tons of medicines, including 350,000 vaccine doses, to Venezuela.

To maintain vital connectivity, Avianca has temporarily established two daily flights between Bogotá, Colombia, and Valencia, Venezuela, offering preferential fares and flexible ticketing. Additionally, Abra Group's LifeMiles loyalty program has engaged customers to donate over 10 million miles to expand relief efforts, with Abra Group matching these contributions.

Abra Group, a leading air transportation company in Latin America, continues to provide support for ongoing crisis relief operations.
