Absolut Vodka and Heinz Launch Limited-Edition Pasta Sauce

Absolut Vodka and Heinz have partnered to launch a new, limited-edition "Heinz x Absolut Tomato Vodka Pasta Sauce" in the United Kingdom. The product is available for pre-order online and will be stocked in Waitrose stores starting April 12.

The collaboration brings together two well-known brands, drawing inspiration from the Pasta alla Vodka recipe that gained popularity on social media in 2020. Absolut Vodka is described as the ingredient that unlocks and intensifies the sauce's flavors and aromas during cooking, with the alcohol content reducing to enhance the taste.

Leanne Banks, Marketing Director at Pernod Ricard UK, stated that the collaboration between two iconic brands is a natural fit for Absolut, which is known for being "Born to Mix." She emphasized that consumers can now enjoy Absolut in a new and creative way through cooking.

The product will be priced at £2.50 for a 350g jar. The launch, responding to social media trends, aims to offer consumers a novel pasta dish experience by combining Heinz's tomato expertise with Absolut's premium vodka.
