Accro Bioscience AC-101 Tablet Included in Rare Disease Drug Program

Accro Bioscience announced on September 14, 2026 (China Standard Time), that its AC-101 tablets have been accepted into the Rare Diseases Innovative Drug Development Encouragement Pilot Program, known as "Caring Plan-Extension." This program is managed by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
The "Caring Plan-Extension" aims to facilitate and expedite the development and market access for drugs targeting rare diseases within China. Accro Bioscience's AC-101 is an oral medication developed for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
Inclusion in this pilot program is expected to provide Accro Bioscience with enhanced regulatory support and feedback from Chinese authorities. This could significantly shorten the review and approval timeline for AC-101, potentially bringing the treatment to patients sooner.
