Stan Shih, founder of Acer, echoed Chen's sentiment, noting that technological progress is inherently difficult to halt. Shih further commented that Taiwan's current capacity within the tech and semiconductor industry might not be sufficient to support a significant slowdown in AI development, should such a measure be attempted.
