Acer Launches Aspire X 16 Laptop Featuring Intel Panther Lake Architecture
Acer has introduced the Aspire X 16 laptop, marking the debut of Intel's Panther Lake processor architecture in the global market.
Acer has expanded its hardware lineup with the international release of the Aspire X 16, a 16-inch laptop powered by Intel's latest Panther Lake architecture. The base model features the Core Ultra X9 388H processor paired with Arc B390 integrated graphics, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD.
The device is built around a 16-inch OLED panel with a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers 500 nits of peak brightness in SDR mode and covers the full DCI-P3 color gamut, targeting users requiring color accuracy and smooth motion.
Physically, the laptop weighs 1.6kg and features a profile ranging from 10.02mm to 15.9mm in thickness. It includes an 84Wh battery, which the manufacturer claims provides up to 24 hours of operation under specific test conditions.
While Acer has previously indicated plans to offer expanded configurations, including 32GB of RAM, 2TB of storage, and lower-tier Core Ultra 5 338H and Ultra X7 358H processor options, those models are not yet available for purchase.
