Taiwanese technology company Acer announced on July 10 that its revenue for the second quarter of 2026 reached NT$85.3 billion (approximately USD 2.6 billion). This figure represents a 28.2% increase compared to the same period last year and is Acer's highest Q2 revenue in nearly 13 years. June's monthly revenue stood at NT$27.8 billion, a 6.3% increase from May.

The company attributed significant growth in its desktop computer segment to AI applications, which drove a 57.3% year-over-year increase in Q2 and a 38.0% rise in the first half of the year. Tablet revenue also saw a substantial boost, growing by 53.9% in Q2 and 35.4% in the first half. Acer's commercial products division experienced a 47.3% revenue increase in Q2 and a 41.2% rise in the first half.

For the first half of 2026, Acer's total revenue amounted to NT$157.7 billion, marking a 23.3% increase year-over-year. This growth aligns with broader trends in the technology sector, where demand for AI-enabled hardware and services is escalating.

The company's performance suggests a successful strategy in capitalizing on the growing demand for AI-powered computing solutions across both consumer and enterprise markets.
