Acer Swift Go Air Laptop Released in China With Government Subsidy
Acer has launched its new Swift Go Air laptop in China, featuring an Intel Core 5 processor. The device is available at a reduced price due to a national subsidy program.

IT Home reports that Acer has released the Swift Go Air, a thin and light laptop, in the Chinese market. The device is equipped with an Intel Core 5 processor, 12GB of LPDDR5 memory, and 512GB of SSD storage.
The laptop has a listed price of 4999 yuan, but with the application of a government subsidy, the final price drops to 4249.15 yuan. This pricing is part of a broader government initiative to boost sales of consumer electronics and home appliances.
Globally known as the Swift Air 14 (SFA14-I31), the model is available in four colors: green, blue, pink, and purple. It features a full metal chassis constructed with CNC technology and a 14-inch display with a 1920x1200 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Weighing 1.19kg and measuring 12.99mm thin, the laptop includes dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and a 70Wh battery. The release specifically targets the Chinese market, leveraging government incentives to enhance affordability for consumers.
