AceVector reports 116% loss increase in second quarter
Parent company of Snapdeal and Unicommerce posted a net loss of ₹16.2 Cr for the September quarter, despite a 17% growth in operating revenue.

AceVector, the parent company of ecommerce marketplace Snapdeal and software provider Unicommerce, reported a net loss of ₹16.2 crore for the second quarter of the 2027 fiscal year, representing a 116% increase compared to the same period last year. The results follow the company's recent public listing, which included a ₹420 crore IPO.
Operating revenue reached ₹151.2 crore, marking a 17% year-on-year increase. Despite this growth, total expenses rose to ₹168.7 crore, driven primarily by a 20% surge in logistics costs and expanded marketing efforts aimed at acquiring customers ahead of the festive shopping season. The company noted that the loss narrowed by 37% on a sequential basis compared to the first quarter.
Business unit performance showed mixed results. Snapdeal, which targets value-conscious shoppers in non-metro regions, saw its net merchandise value (NMV) from fashion rise by 31% in the first half of the year. Meanwhile, Unicommerce reported a 15% revenue growth to ₹110.4 crore for the half-year period, though its Adjusted EBITDA declined due to increased investments in AI product development and talent acquisition.
Looking forward, the company expects improved profitability in the second half of the fiscal year as marketing expenditures moderate. Management indicated that they anticipate operating leverage to play a larger role in financial performance as revenue growth continues.
