ACI Prensa Relaunches as EWTN News Español

EWTN Global Catholic Network announced the rebranding of its Spanish-language news service, ACI Prensa, to EWTN News Español. The network also launched a new digital home for the service at EWTNNews.com/es. ACI Prensa, founded in Peru in 1980 and part of EWTN since 2014, has provided reporting on the Catholic Church to Spanish-speaking audiences for over four decades.

The rebranding integrates ACI Prensa into the unified global identity of EWTN News. The new digital platform is designed to connect Spanish-speaking communities across Latin America, the United States, and beyond with EWTN's global news organization. This initiative combines ACI Prensa's journalistic legacy with EWTN's broader resources and reach.

EWTN News stated that a unified global brand does not necessitate identical experiences for all audiences. The Spanish-language rebrand is part of a strategy to offer tailored media experiences. "Every Catholic, whatever language they speak, deserves a great digital experience," said Sean Graber, President of Digital for EWTN.

The journalists at EWTN News Español bring decades of experience in covering the life of the Church. The new platform aims to provide richer, more accessible journalism and content for Catholics and those exploring the faith.
