ADAC Clarifies Premium Membership Terms
ADAC has released detailed information on the coverage and insurance terms for its Premium membership. The membership provides benefits related to vehicles and travel, including foreign health insurance coverage.
ADAC, Germany's largest automobile club, has published detailed information regarding the terms of its Premium membership. The membership is designed to offer comprehensive protection for vehicle damages, as well as in cases of illness, injury, or death.
The Premium membership includes vehicle-related services across Europe and globally. These services cover assistance in case of breakdowns, accidents, or vehicle theft. The protection extends to both unregistered and registered motor vehicles operated by a member. It also covers vehicles personally registered to members if they are traveling as passengers or are about to start a journey. Towing, recovery, and transport services, along with assistance for lost or damaged vehicle keys, are part of the offering.
The membership also provides personal protection services and foreign health insurance. This coverage applies to illness, injury, and death during trips lasting up to 92 days in Europe and 63 days outside Europe. The insurance protection begins upon crossing the border abroad and includes coverage for damages resulting from natural disasters or crises.
ADAC has established a group insurance agreement with ADAC Versicherung AG for its Premium members. All mutual rights and obligations are governed by the insurance card and applicable insurance conditions, with German law being the governing law. Communication regarding the membership is conducted in German.
