ADAC Plus membership terms clarified
ADAC has released detailed information regarding the terms and conditions of its Plus membership. The membership provides vehicle-specific and personal benefits across Europe and globally.

Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club e.V. (ADAC) has issued more specific information on the terms and conditions for its ADAC Plus membership. This membership operates under a group insurance contract between ADAC e.V. and ADAC Versicherung AG, offering members various benefits following vehicle damage, illness, injury, or death.
A core component of the ADAC Plus membership is its vehicle-specific protection. This coverage extends across Europe and provides assistance in cases of breakdowns, accidents, or vehicle theft. It covers both non-registration-required and registered motor vehicles driven by a protected person at the time of an incident. The protection also applies if a protected person is about to commence driving the vehicle.
Furthermore, the membership includes person-specific benefits providing worldwide coverage during travel. This encompasses coverage for expenses incurred due to illness, injury, or death while abroad. The travel insurance component begins at the border crossing into a foreign country, covering up to 92 days within Europe and 63 days outside Europe for each trip.
In situations where no protected person is driving the vehicle at the time of an incident, but the vehicle is personally registered to a protected member, services such as breakdown assistance, help with lost or damaged keys, towing, recovery, and vehicle transport are still provided. ADAC directs members to the official "Bestimmungen für die ADAC Pannen- und Unfallhilfe" and the specific conditions for ADAC Plus members and group insurance policies issued by ADAC Versicherung AG for complete details.
