A.D.A.M. Innovations Focuses on Data Intelligence in Healthcare
Japanese firm A.D.A.M. Innovations is shifting focus from genetic data generation to data intelligence, aiming to capitalize on the growing precision medicine market.

A.D.A.M. Innovations, a Japanese health technology company, believes healthcare is entering a new phase where value creation stems from transforming genetic data into actionable intelligence rather than just generating the data itself. The company is positioning itself to leverage this market shift.
The global precision medicine market is projected for substantial growth, with estimates suggesting it will expand from approximately $119 billion in 2025 to over $537 billion by 2035. This represents an annual growth rate exceeding 16 percent.
Within Japan, the precision medicine market is expected to grow from $4.9 billion in 2024 to roughly $7.4 billion by 2033. Key drivers for this expansion include an aging population, the increasing burden of chronic diseases, and ongoing government support for precision medicine initiatives.
"The opportunity for A.D.A.M. Innovations is much bigger than genetic testing," stated CEO Michel Mommejat. The company's strategy centers on converting data into insights that aid decision-making for both patients and healthcare professionals.
