Adani Enterprises, Jabil Sign MoU for AI Equipment Joint Venture
Adani Enterprises and US-based Jabil Inc. have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint venture for manufacturing AI and data center equipment in India.

Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of India's Adani Group, and US-based manufacturing firm Jabil Inc. have entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to create a 50:50 joint venture. This venture is intended to manufacture and assemble artificial intelligence (AI) and data center equipment within India.
The proposed partnership aims to produce AI racks, servers, storage, networking equipment, and power and cooling systems. The goal is to meet the growing demand for data center capacity in India and also to serve international export markets. This agreement solidifies a prior understanding between the two companies, though its realization is contingent on regulatory approvals and the finalization of definitive agreements.
Adani Group aims to move up the AI value chain by not only powering and hosting AI infrastructure but also engineering and manufacturing the critical systems for next-generation computing. The joint venture with Jabil represents a strategic step, combining Jabil's manufacturing capabilities with Adani's integrated strengths in energy, infrastructure, and data centers.
India's data center market is experiencing rapid growth driven by AI demand, cloud expansion, and data localization requirements. The sector is highly competitive, with companies like Reliance Industries and Amazon also investing in domestic manufacturing and expanding their data center capacities in India.
