AddSecure Acquires Connecting Solutions BV to Bolster Smart Mobility Unit
AddSecure has acquired Belgian company Connecting Solutions BV as part of its growth strategy for its Smart Mobility business unit. The deal strengthens AddSecure's market position and share in Belgium.
Swedish company AddSecure has acquired Connecting Solutions BV, a Belgian provider of fleet management solutions. The acquisition is part of AddSecure's strategy to expand its newly formed Smart Mobility business unit.
The Smart Mobility unit offers telematics and software solutions for the transport sector. Connecting Solutions will be integrated into AddSecure's Traxgo brand, which focuses on connected mobility. Connecting Solutions provides services such as vehicle tracking, monitoring, and software applications for fleet management.
The deal is expected to strengthen AddSecure's market position and share in Belgium and the Netherlands. It also brings an expanded customer base and opens new sales channels through distributors.
AddSecure established the Smart Mobility business unit in September 2023 following its acquisition of Clifford Group. The unit aims for growth through both organic expansion and further acquisitions. The acquisition of Connecting Solutions is the first under this new business unit.
