AddSecure Acquires ISG, Adds Smart Surveillance to Portfolio
AddSecure has completed the acquisition of International Security Group GmbH (ISG), a German provider of video surveillance solutions. The deal expands AddSecure's offerings into 'Smart Surveillance'.
AddSecure, a European provider of IoT solutions, has finalized its acquisition of International Security Group GmbH (ISG), a German company specializing in Video Surveillance-as-a-Service. The transaction, initially announced in November 2020, integrates ISG's mobile video surveillance capabilities into AddSecure's portfolio.
ISG offers video surveillance solutions, marketed as Video Guard, to sectors including construction, logistics, and infrastructure. AddSecure states that this acquisition supports its growth strategy by entering the expanding market for video surveillance.
The company is establishing a new business area named "Smart Surveillance." Both AddSecure and ISG aim to become a leading provider of Surveillance-as-a-Service across Europe. The demand for video surveillance is reportedly growing due to increased security and monitoring requirements in business and public sectors.
Stefan Albertsson, CEO of AddSecure, expressed enthusiasm for welcoming ISG, highlighting how their solutions enhance AddSecure's offering and create international growth opportunities. Jörn Windler, Managing Director of ISG, will continue to lead the ISG team, anticipating further growth in Europe under AddSecure's ownership.
