AdJane Biosciences has outlined a strategy to develop next-generation respiratory vaccines that incorporate mucosal immunity. The company's Nm-nOMV platform is designed to provide a unique mucosal component to existing intramuscular vaccination programs, according to a white paper released on September 10, 2026.

The Delft, Netherlands-based company explained that its clinically validated technology could enhance protection against respiratory infections. The strategy focuses on stimulating an immune response directly at mucosal surfaces, which are often the primary entry points for pathogens.
