Adobe Integrates Creative Tools into ChatGPT
Adobe has launched a new plug-in integrating over 70 of its creative and productivity tools into ChatGPT. Users can now generate images, videos, and documents by describing their needs in plain language.

Adobe has released a new plug-in that merges more than 70 of its creative and productivity tools, including Photoshop, Premiere, and Acrobat, with ChatGPT. The new integration allows users to describe desired content, such as images, videos, social media posts, and PDFs, using natural language. The AI then interprets the request and utilizes Adobe's tools to generate the output.
The plug-in acts as a core for OpenAI's ChatGPT, which interprets user commands and directs Adobe's backend systems. According to Adobe, this can lead to unexpected and "magical" results as ChatGPT combines tools in unforeseen ways. The user's past conversations and preferences can influence the outcomes, creating a more personalized experience.
The plug-in is available globally on ChatGPT's web and mobile apps, as well as ChatGPT Work and Codex. It consolidates Adobe's previously separate ChatGPT applications, including Express, Photoshop, Firefly, Premiere, Acrobat, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, and Stock. Users can, for example, restyle a photo set with a consistent look, cut a long video into shorter versions, or transform spreadsheets into various graphical presentations.
All generated outputs are editable. Users can start with high-level text commands and then proceed to more detailed adjustments. Finished files can be exported to Adobe's full applications for deeper editing, such as adjusting layers and masks in Photoshop. Adobe states that this new, non-deterministic approach to software design is reaching new customer segments and revealing new use cases.
