Adobe has announced the integration of its creative tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator, into the Slack collaboration platform. The new feature, named Adobe for Slack, enables users to create content by entering text prompts directly within a Slack chat window.

Through this integration, users can initiate Adobe functions by interacting with Slackbot, selecting "Manage Apps" and adding Adobe. Prompts like "@Adobe, create a series of seasonal posters for us" can be entered, allowing Slack to utilize Adobe's creative tools for content generation.

Beyond text prompts, users can also leverage past conversations and shared files to guide content creation. Furthermore, Adobe for Slack can access internal Slack data and pull assets from Creative Cloud resources, facilitating a streamlined workflow.

The service is now available globally for users subscribed to both companies' offerings. This move expands Adobe's strategy to embed creative processes within common workflow and communication tools.
