Advanet Launches Renesas RZ/G3L-Based Industrial Computing Product Family

Advanet has introduced a new family of industrial computing products utilizing the Renesas RZ/G3L processor. The line includes the Adsmc7101 SMARC module, the AdiMB7103 industrial motherboard, and the AdiCS7102 industrial Box PC. Designed and manufactured in Japan, these products share a common hardware and software platform aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of industrial systems with extended lifecycles.

The new platform provides a seamless progression from System-on-Module solutions to motherboards and fully integrated systems. It targets applications in industrial automation, human-machine interfaces (HMI), edge computing, and building automation. Advanet aims to help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) speed up development and commercialization while ensuring long-term product availability and support.

The Renesas RZ/G3L processor, featuring a quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 CPU running at 1.2 GHz, offers enhanced processing power and energy efficiency compared to previous generations. The common platform allows customers to select the most appropriate solution and customize it for specific applications, from system architecture design through to production and lifecycle management.

The product family leverages the Renesas ecosystem, including the Verified Linux Package and Product Longevity Program, ensuring reliable software integration and long-term availability. Advanet is also evaluating the platform for select aerospace applications where reliability and customization are critical requirements. The products are now available.
