Aequs reports revenue growth amid widening losses in Q2
Contract manufacturer Aequs saw its revenue climb 45% to ₹409.1 Cr in the second quarter, while net losses expanded by 154% year-on-year.

Aequs reported a consolidated net loss of ₹52.4 Cr for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, marking a 154.4% increase from the ₹20.6 Cr loss recorded in the same quarter last year. Despite the wider loss, the company’s operating revenue grew by 45.3% to ₹409.1 Cr.
The company’s bottom line was impacted by rising operational expenses, which surged 56.2% to ₹395.2 Cr, outpacing revenue growth. While the quarterly performance reflects a slight improvement in net loss compared to the ₹53.2 Cr loss in the previous quarter, the year-on-year pressure remains significant due to higher overheads.
The aerospace division remains the company’s primary revenue driver, contributing ₹351.4 Cr to the total, a 44.2% year-on-year increase. The consumer business also showed growth, rising 52% to reach ₹57.7 Cr. When accounting for ₹10.6 Cr in other income, total income for the period stood at ₹419.7 Cr.
