Newport News, Virginia – Aery Aviation has been selected to execute a major special mission aircraft program focused on developing advanced Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities for an international government client. This award marks a significant milestone for the company, reinforcing its role as a provider of integration and modification services for defense and government operators.
The multi-phase project encompasses the full lifecycle, from systems engineering and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development to aircraft modification, mission systems integration, and certification. The resulting modified business jets will serve as long-endurance platforms for critical government missions including national security, maritime domain awareness, and border protection.
Program execution will be based at Aery Aviation's headquarters and FAA-certificated facilities in Newport News, Virginia. The initiative leverages the company's integrated engineering, repair station, flight operations, and manufacturing capabilities, enabling the transformation of complex aerospace concepts into operational readiness for customers.
