Aformic Raises $6.95 Million to Expand Autonomous Industrial Robotics
Aformic has secured $6.95 million in seed funding led by Veteran Ventures Capital to accelerate the deployment of its autonomous mobile robots in North American industrial facilities.

Aformic, a producer of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and fleet management software, has closed a $6.95 million seed funding round. The investment was led by Veteran Ventures Capital (VVC), with additional participation from ff Venture Capital, Red Beard Ventures, and Mana Ventures.
Based in Duncan, South Carolina, Aformic provides hardware, including autonomous forklifts and underride platforms, alongside its Qursor fleet-management software. The technology is designed to automate material transport within factories, aiming to mitigate skilled labor shortages by allowing human workers to focus on production rather than material movement.
This marks Aformic’s first institutional investment. The capital is designated for expanding the company’s presence across the North American manufacturing and defense sectors. As part of the funding, VVC Managing Partner Derren Burrell has joined Aformic’s board of directors to assist in navigating the defense industrial base.
