AFSP Illinois Launches 2026 Walks for Suicide Prevention Awareness

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Illinois Chapter has unveiled its 2026 schedule for the Out of the Darkness Community Walks. These events are designed to raise funds and heighten awareness in support of suicide prevention.

The walks will take place across 14 communities throughout Illinois, bringing together families, friends, and advocates to promote vital work. AFSP Illinois aims to support local programs and national initiatives that provide assistance and resources for those affected by suicide and their loved ones.
