Agilent NovoExpress Software Streamlines Flow Cytometry Analysis
Agilent Technologies has released NovoExpress software, integrating sample acquisition and data analysis into a single interface. The software enables real-time analysis while samples are being acquired.

Agilent Technologies, Inc. has introduced its NovoExpress software, designed to streamline workflows in flow cytometry analysis. The software consolidates sample acquisition and data analysis into one unified interface, aiming to enhance user efficiency.
The NovoExpress software allows for the simultaneous acquisition of samples and real-time analysis of newly gathered data. This feature is intended to maximize researcher productivity by enabling immediate insights while data collection is still in progress. It also includes tools for accurate pre- and post-acquisition compensation.
The software offers flexible analysis templates and customizable plotting tools, facilitating the interpretation of complex datasets. Users can generate publication-quality figures and reports, with options to adjust statistical parameters and visual elements. NovoExpress supports the export of data in FCS (2.0, 3.1) and CSV formats, and can import FCS files for further analysis.
Additional capabilities include automated cell proliferation analysis and a cell cycle analysis module employing Dean Jett Fox (DJF) and Watson Pragmatic algorithms. These functions assist in quantifying cell cycle phases and related parameters. For high-throughput studies, a heatmap display provides a quick visual comparison across multiple samples.
