Agilent Presents Cancer Research Tools at AACR Meeting

Agilent Technologies is set to present a range of new solutions aimed at advancing cancer research and diagnostics at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting in San Diego, April 5-10, 2024.

The company will highlight its NovoCyte Opteon Spectral Flow Cytometer, an advanced system for spectral flow cytometry that allows simultaneous analysis of multiple markers and flexible panel design with up to 70 detectors. This system is intended to enhance research capabilities for scientists.

Agilent's Avida target enrichment solutions enable simultaneous DNA and methylation profiling from a single sample. This technology, which maintains the original sample quality and quantity, supports advanced applications such as liquid biopsy and multiomics for targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS).

Additionally, Agilent SureSelect Cancer Custom panels will be featured. These panels allow the inclusion of new and emerging biomarkers, such as tumor mutational burden (TMB) and microsatellite instability (MSI), in custom genomic profiling assays. The company also announced a new partnership with CiberMed to develop SureSelect CD CiberMed Tissue and Heme panels for cellular profiling and biomarker discovery.
