Agilent Technologies is presenting new solutions and partnerships to advance cancer research, diagnostics, and therapeutics at the AACR Annual Meeting in Chicago. At the event, held from April 25-30, 2025, the company will feature new DNA panels for liquid biopsies and collaborations with Tagomics and Abcam, among other innovations.
The new Agilent Avida DNA Cancer Panels offer targeted enrichment solutions for next-generation sequencing (NGS), enabling simultaneous DNA and methylation profiling from a single sample. Optimized according to the requirements of the European OncNGS Consortium, these panels facilitate rapid and sensitive detection of cancer-related genomic alterations from circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA). The NGS workflow is significantly streamlined, with sequencing-ready libraries producible in five hours.
The company is also showcasing the Agilent SureSelect Cancer CGP Assay and the Tagomics InterlaceTM Multiomics Assay, developed in partnership with Tagomics. This combined solution provides comprehensive, genome-wide epigenetic profiling alongside targeted DNA variant detection, deepening the understanding of cancer biology and improving diagnosis.
Furthermore, Agilent will highlight the Agilent SureSelect Cancer Pan Heme Assay, co-developed with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. This new RNA and DNA assay offers comprehensive genomic profiling for hematologic malignancies. It is the first kitted assay designed for walkaway automation, significantly enhancing laboratory productivity and turnaround times.
