Agilent Technologies showcased its newest advancements in mass spectrometry and chromatography at the 74th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics, held in San Diego, California, from May 31 to June 4, 2026. The company highlighted integrated solutions designed to simplify complex workflows and enhance the reliability of analytical results.
Agilent contributes to analytical science by providing integrated instruments, software, services, and expertise that support laboratories across the life sciences, pharmaceutical, environmental, and food safety sectors. The company aims to deliver high-performance solutions enabling scientists to tackle challenging analytical problems with confidence.
Among the showcased products was the Agilent 9500 Triple Quadrupole ICP-MS, engineered to simplify the transition from single quadrupole to triple quadrupole ICP-MS configurations. This system features Air Cell and Advanced Helium Mode (AHM) technologies, facilitating robust interference removal and rapid analysis for trace elemental applications.
Agilent also demonstrated its 8890B and 8860B GC Systems, incorporating the new GC Assist instrument intelligence. These systems combine updated hardware with integrated monitoring and diagnostics to improve data quality and reduce unplanned downtime. The Agilent Multi-Attribute Method (MAM) Solution, intended for regulated biopharmaceutical quality control, was also featured, integrating software, instrumentation, and consumables into a unified workflow.
